IS RRB NTPC Exam 2020 going to be Conduct or Not??? Railway Recruitment Board has released the ONLINE applications from eligible Indian Nationals and other nationals as brought out at Para 4 of this CEN for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) i.e. Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.
The Online Application for this recruitment was released on 28.02.2019. Candidates had already applied for this recruitment. Candidates who are all applied for this recruitment are eagerly waiting for this examination. Exam Date for this recruitment is not yet announced. The most awaiting moment of this recruitment is announcement of exam date. But officials is released the exam date as of now but recently, the official notice regarding Exam Conducting Agency is released.
Engaging Exam Conducting (ECA) for conducting multiple stages of Computer Based Test, Computer Based Aptitude/Typing Skill Test, Document Verification and all other related services in connection with Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) No.01/2019 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) all over India. The revised dates for Pre-bid conference, Release of responses and clarifications on pre-bid queries, Last date and time for receipt of offers/bids through E-Tender Online and Time and date of opening of Technical bids is given.
So candidates expected the exam to be conducted in the month of June/July 2020. But this expectation is also not going to happen because of Lock down declared due to Outbreak of Corona Virus.

RRB NTPC Exam Details 2020:

There shall be two stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Skill Test (Computer based Aptitude Test for Station Master and Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper). Subsequently, there will be document verification and medical examination. For Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, there shall be two stage CBT followed by document verification and medical examination. Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held in June 2020. 

RRB NTPC Call Letter 2020:

Candidates will have to download the City and Date Intimations, e-Call Letters and Travel Authority (wherever applicable) from the links provided on the official websites of RRBs.

RRB NTPC Normalization of Marks:

Marks will be normalized for all the stages of exam involving multiple sessions. Marks will be normalized as per the formulae given in the Official Notice.

RRB NTPC Short Listing for Various Stages:

RRB wise shortlisting of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 20 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration). The shortlisting for 2nd Stage CBT will be based on the merit of the candidates in 1st Stage CBT. The shortlisting for Skill Tests such as Computer-based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test shall be to the extent of 8 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration) based on the merit of the candidates in 2nd Stage CBT.

RRB NTPC Negative Marking:

There shall be negative marking for the incorrect answers in CBTs. Deduction of 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be made for each wrong answer.

Selection Method:

Admission to all stages of recruitment process shall be purely provisional, subject to the candidate satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of e-Call letter to the candidates will NOT imply that their candidature has been finally accepted by the RRB. RRBs conduct verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidates have qualified in all the stages of examinations and are shortlisted for Document Verification. RRBs may reject the candidature of any applicant at any stage of recruitment process in case the candidate is found to be not fulfilling the requisite criteria and if appointed, such a candidate is liable to be removed from service summarily.

RRB NTPC Exam Dates 2020:

Dates of examinations will also be published on the websites of participating RRBs. The e-call letters for CBTs, Computer based Aptitude Test, Typing Skill Test and document verification (as applicable) should be downloaded ONLY from websites of the Railway Recruitment Boards concerned. No call letter will be sent by post. The CBT Centre, date and shift indicated in the e-call letter shall be final. RRBs reserve the right to introduce additional CBTs / Typing Skill Test/ Aptitude Test and/or additional document verification etc., without assigning any reason.

RRB NTPC Medical Standards For the Posts:

Candidates called for document verification will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of railway staff.
