At the Mann Ki Baat on August 18, the Prime Minister asked the people of the country to share their ideas on Mann Ki Baat.

The Prime Minister tweeted that people can share their ideas and suggestions by writing a letter using the Namo or MyGov app or recording messages on 1800-11-7800. The phone centers have been open since August 10.

Earlier in the day, Modi had sharply criticized Pakistan in the Mann Ki Baat on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Kargil Vijay Day. Modi had said that the problems were caused by Pakistan's attempt to seize Indian land and create civil strife. The Prime Minister also asked the youth of the country to share the brave stories of the Indian Army in the Kargil war.

Prime Minister Modi also reminded the people to be vigilant in the face of rising Kovid-19 situation. He said it was essential to wear a mask when going out. He added that Kovid ex-combatants should wear masks if they want to understand the difficulty of spending a day wearing them. He reiterated at the last Mann Ki Baat that people should take all precautions to prevent Kovid-19.
